Destiny’s Child Reunion Rumors - LeToya Luckett and Kelly Rowland Comment
So there have been almost constant rumors about a reunion by Destiny’s Child. LeToya Luckett and Kelly Rowland were both recently asked about it in interviews and we’ve got their words on the matter below.
First, LeToya Luckett, in this interview which opens with “Say My Name,” a Destiny’s Child hit that doesn’t even feature LeToya Luckett. In the interview, LeToya talks about her upcoming album, Lady Love, due out August 25th, as well as on the possibility of a Destiny’s Child reunion. On the topic of a reunion, LeToya said she hasn’t heard anything about a reunion tour but that she would be happy to do it if it came about. It’s interesting they bother asking her about Destiny’s Child seeing as LeToya’s been out of the group for so many years.
Denying a possible reunion, a report from Kelly Rowland stated:
Kelly Rowland has denied that she and former Destiny’s Child bandmates Beyoncé Knowles and Michelle Williams are working on another album.
The ‘Work’ singer encouraged fans to ignore the reports and insisted that the trio, who split in 2005, are concentrating on their solo careers.
Will there be one? Maybe some day, but not right now. Kelly Rowland’s dominating the charts, Beyonce is an icon that prints money, and Michelle Williams is busy acting. Sooo probably not happening.
