Crazy Collaborations - Anita Baker and Snoop Dogg
As Anita Baker works on her next album, due out in the Spring of 2010, it’s been announced that the album will feature a song done with Snoop Dogg. The track is a cover of Curtis Mayfield’s “Give Me Your Love (Love Song)” and is done in a “very contemporary way” according to Anita Baker.
Commenting on Snoop Dogg, Anita Baker said:
“It’s lovely—who knew that Snoop is madly in love with his wife, you know? We’ve got a chance to see that in the way his music has grown, so when he comes in to do dialogue over that love theme, it becomes very grown-up and contemporary at the same time.”
