New R&B Music: Clipse Featuring Keri Hilson- Eyez On Me
With it’s heavy beat, Clipse comes out hard with “Eyez on Me.” The songs more rap than R&B but Keri Hilson’s presence keeps the balance close. I find the song pretty boring and the beat is a little too dominating. Not that the beat hurts it since the verses are mediocre too. The beat is done by The Neptunes, which is cool, but it’s just too noisy. There are too many effects going on that the song seems more about the beat than the performances.
