Jagged Edge - The Remedy - 2010 - Featuring… Everybody?
Jagged Edge is gearing up for the follow-up to their album Baby Makin Project, released in 2007 on Def Jam Records. Their new album, titled The Remedy, will be released on Slip-N-Slide Records in 2010, and seems to be building up quite a list of features. According to group member Kyle Norman:
“So far we’re in talks with Rick Ross and Plies. We talked to Jay-Z about doing a song on the last album, so we’re going to try to pursue that again, and we’ve also been chatting with Snoop [Dogg].”
Okay, so we’ve got Rick Ross, Plies, Jay-Z, Snoop Dogg…They also plan to feature R&B newcomers Jarvis and Chelsea.
The album is an attempt at “a new creation, a new birth,” according to Norman.
That’s cool and all… but let’s make sure the group makes their own imprint on the record too.
