Remembering Michael Jackson: Boyz II Men Tribute Performance
For the most part I’ve been avoiding Michael Jackson tributes by artists as honestly, they don’t do much besides say the same things over and over. However, when I saw this clip of Boyz II Men paying their dues during a concert, I thought it was worth making an exception.
At a recent concert, Boyz II Men did their cover of Michael Jackson’s “Human Nature” and their track “It’s So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday.” They also held a moment of silence and danced/sang along to some of Michael Jackson’s hits throughout the ages. It’s a nice tribute to see, though I kinda wish Boyz II Men sang the Michael Jackson songs themselves but I bet it was hard to pull together so quickly.
Reflecting on Michael Jackson’s influence on the group, here’s an early performance by Boyz II Men in which they sang “Heal the World,” and “We Are the World” with Michael Jackson. I gotta tell you though, seeing Michael Jackson come out in this performance gave me chills.
