Boyz II Men have a huge catalogue of unreleased tracks that I and the other guys of R&B Haven have been gathering over time. Well Boyz II Men is starting to share the material themselves as each month, they are putting up new songs on their site at Oyo Music.

New R&B Music - Boyz II Men - Open Arms
Boyz II Men have released the first single from their upcoming cover albums. The track, Open Arms, is a cover of the song by Journey. The song is beautiful, a great piece done by Journey and a great selection by Boyz II Men. The guys do a good job with it and I especially love their strength on the chorus. As a friend of mine pointed out, they make great use of the piano, really adding effect to it.

Old School R&B - Boyz II Men - On Bended Knee
Closing out the day’s old school live performances, we’ve got Boyz II Men. These guys always sound great live and here’s just another example as they do “On Bended Knee.” Wonderful performers, it is easy to see why they’ve been able to stay around so many years in the R&B industry, and will have another album out later this year.
Throwback Music Videos - Marc Nelson - 15 Minutes
As a big fan of Az Yet, I felt it necessary to choose Marc Nelson for this last video throwback of the day. The group’s lead vocalist, who also was a part of Boyz II Men before they blew up, released this single to his debut album. Titled “15 Minutes” I’m not a HUGE fan of the track and would rather do his song “Love’s Not Love” but alas, I couldn’t find a music video for it. Enjoy 15 Minutes below!

Boyz II Men’s new cover album, due out November 10, 2009 recently had a preview of one of its tracks. As we mentioned, “Open Arms” by Journey is confirmed to be on the album and here we have a little peek at Boyz II Men’s rendition of it. It sounds really solid so check it out below!
