Preview Amerie - In Love & War
Amerie’s new album, In Love & War is due out November 3rd. But to get a first listen to some of the tracks, you don’t have to wait until then as Def Jam has allowed 6 of the songs to be previewed on her site. The available songs include full clips of “Heard Em All,” and “Why R U,” and snippets of “Higher,” “Tell Me You Love Me,” “Pretty Brown,” and “Red Eye.”

New R&B Music - Amerie - Heard Em All
As Amerie’s album, In Love & War, was moved back, it was announced that a new single would be coming soon. Well, here’s “Heard Em All,” the album’s official second single and follow-up to “Why R U.”
The new song has a rock, pop sound to it. Produced by Sean Garrett and Eric Hudson, the song has a great beat to it and really gets you bobbing your head. The song is a fun anthem and, while different from typical Amerie, is a really wild track. Check it out and have some fun.

New R&B Music: Amerie - Red Eye
“Red Eye“, a track recently leaked by Amerie on a Tapemaster’s mixtape, is part of her upcoming album In Love & War. The track is produced by Brian-Michael Cox and is pretty sweet. The vocals are nice and soft, with Amerie almost speaking in song. She sounds nice and the backing vocals are tight. Of course, it’s a mixtape track which means it features plenty of annoying side commentary but what can you do.
Rumor has it, Amerie’s upcoming album, In Love & War, has been pushed back until October. Not really a surprise seeing as they’ve forgotten about promoting the album and a good number of tracks have leaked. We’ll keep you posted as we find out more!
New R&B Music: Amerie - Dear John Leaked
Amerie’s got an album coming out August 11, titled In Love & War. However, that doesn’t mean you have to wait until then to enjoy some new songs by the singer. She recently leaked the track “Dear John,” a song that was left out of her last album Because I Love It.
However, just because Amerie opted out of this R&B track, it doesn’t change the fact that it’s solid. So check it out, and tell me what you think!
Amerie - Why R U Video Premieres
In case our previous Amerie post of Dear John wasn’t enough, she’s just released the first single to her upcoming album. The track, titled “Why R U” came out earlier today in the UK and features some jumpy visuals and some glow paint reminiscent of Busta Rhyme’s old videos. Needless to say, the video is pretty trippy, something Amerie acknowledged when she said, “We wanted to go with something abstract but not too far out there.” Whether or not you like the song, the new album “In Love & War” will be out later this year.
